ANNOUNCEMENT #4 - JULY 11, 2002

Over the last few weeks, we have been strongly guided to simplify the teaching method for the Lightarian Reiki I & II Training. It has been converted over to Q&A-style Training....a self-study program on the student's part followed by a simple Question/Answer exchange with the Teacher (in person, by telephone or via E-mail). The I & II program will now align with the same self-study method already in place for Lightarian Reiki III, IV and V&VI.

Using the newly revised Lightarian Reiki I & II Training Manual (called the July 2002 Edition), you will be able to offer the I & II training to your students in this new format. There is no change in the methods for the attunement...as always, to be delivered during an in-person session, by telephone or via remote. There have been no fundamental changes made in the principles and philosophy of Lightarian Reiki...only the shift in teaching method described above.

Even though the training for Level I & II has been redesigned to the simpler "self-study plus Q&A" approach, you are still encouraged to create your own personalized teaching methods. So, perhaps depending on your style preferences and/or any specific needs of your student, you may choose to set up a more traditional, formalized training session to go over the Lightarian Reiki I & II material with your student prior to passing on the Attunement.

Our new Lightarian Reiki I & II Manual includes the necessary changes regarding the new teaching method and goes even further in answering many more "Frequently Asked Questions." There have also been a few updates, revisions and simplifications in languaging and style, especially in the attunement script. The cover has also been redesigned with simplicity and beauty in mind.

Ordering Level I & II Manuals: The new July 2002 Edition of the Lightarian Reiki I & II Manual is available now and will be mailed out to fulfill your next order. This will allow you to start working with new students right away using the new teaching method. Please note that although this new edition of the Level I & II Manual embodies an important shift in our teaching method, it does not "outdate" your current inventory of I & II Manuals. You can continue to use them until you are ready to phase in the latest Edition.

New versions of the Manuals for Levels Reiki III, IV and V&VI: There will be some very minor revisions to these manuals and they will be phased in over the next few weeks. In the meantime, for any Teachers ordering Levels III, IV and V&VI Manuals very soon, we will continue to supply the March 2001 Editions while they last. Just to clarify, there will be no problem using your current Level III, IV and V&VI manuals down the road with students who get started using the new Edition of the I & II Manual.

Adjustment to the Institute's Fees for the Lightarian Reiki Program: For your information, the Institute has adjusted its fees for all the levels of Lightarian Reiki, including the Buddhic Boost. The fee for the new Q&A style-training/attunement for L. Reiki I & II is $195. The Buddhic Boost attunement is now $50 and the fees for the three follow-on Lightarian Reiki levels (III, IV, and V&VI) are $95 each.
